United Hearts is proud to announce the successful start of our Sustainable Fish Pond Project!  We are currently raising catfish, which will serve as a way to not only contribute to the dietary needs of the children, but as a sustainable source of income, through selling these fish to our local supporters!  Within a couple months, we will be adding Tilapia to our other fish pond, so we can raise fish to be sold at different times of the year.  For the exact breakdown of costs and benefits for this project, email us at info@unitedheartsghana.org.

We currently have a sustainable produce farm, where we grow cabbage, maize, cassava, and yams.  We are also raising rabbits, which started as a Christmas gift, and have now grown to 15!

These projects will support our center through providing nutritious food for our children, and contributing to the local economy by selling this produce to our local supporters, and at the Bawjiase Market.
